We are seeking a caring and dedicated Weekend RN Supervisors for all shifts to join our rapidly growing team at our skilled nursing facility in West Babylon! Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: The ideal candidate will oversee the total care and safety of all residents and employees for assigned unit during shift Supervises and assists all nursing personnel in their work performance when necessary Performs duties of Unit Nurse when necessary Document patient histories, administers medication and care as needed, coordinate necessary appointments Monitor residents to ensure that the plans are being followed and that the resident’s and family needs are being met Plan, coordinate, and direct all nursing staff on all shifts on the assigned units Minimum Qualifications include: Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in New York State Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a long-term health care setting Strong leadership and management skills Has knowledge of Federal and State health regulations Experience with care plans and strong documentation skills Flexibility in work hours BLS Certification RN License The shifts are Morning (7am to 3pm) Evening (3pm to 11pm) Overnight (11pm to 7am)

Ability to coordinate all functions in the operation of a resident unit through effective team nursing assignments. Maintain meaningful and accurate documentation of services provided. Nursing: 1 years minimum BLS Certification Long term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintain accurate patient records and closely monitor vital signs. Lead and support our dedicated nursing staff, providing supervision and assistance. Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, assigning duties, and overseeing patient care. Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges for seamless transitions. Communicate patient status to the Unit Manager. Foster a nurturing and collaborative work environment, offering guidance to staff members. Provide empathetic support to patients and their families during challenging times. Collaborate with doctors and administrators to optimize patient care and outcomes. Communicate protocol updates efficiently to ensure smooth operations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, creating a safe environment for all. Keep essential reports up-to-date to maintain operational efficiency. Respond swiftly and calmly to any emergencies or issues that arise. Minimum Qualifications include: Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in New York State OR Currently is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in New York State.
