Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Hathorne Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Danvers, Massachusetts. Responsibilities:
Provide routine care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with serving meals, feeding residents, and meal documentation
Maintain resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner
Assist with scheduling appointments and transporting residents to activities and appointments
Monitor resident conditions and report any unusual conditions, accidents, or incidents to the nurse
Participate in informal and formal resident care meetings as requested
Follow all health, sanitary, and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice
Requirements:
C.N.A. certification as evidenced by completion of Nurse's Aide Training Program approved in accordance with the State of Massachusetts Public Health Code and a passing score on the MA Nurse's Aide Certification Exam
Clean ASI registry check
Previous CNA experience desirable, but not essential
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English; ability to follow oral and written instructions
Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position assignment
Must be able to cope with the mental, emotional, and physical stress of the position
Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the facility
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day, proper body mechanics required - bending, stooping, turning, stretching, and reaching above the shoulders are involved
Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics/equipment that will enable these senses to function adequately
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Mechanical devices are provided and are required to assist in proper lifting techniques

Demonstrates proper techniques in relation to body mechanics
Properly utilizes techniques in performing Activities of Daily Living, assisted feeding, and providing nourishments
Takes vital signs and weights, records as facility instructed
Understands and upholds the Resident's Bill of Rights and holds all resident information confidential
Follows and complies with all State and Federal regulations as well as established Personnel Policies and Procedures
Maintains all pertinent records in an accurate, timely, efficient, and confidential manner
