Transportation Aide/Driver Responsibilities

·         Operates community vehicle to transport residents and/or staff and assigned errands.

·         Assists passengers in entering and exiting vehicle in accordance with all applicable regulations.

·         Maintains community vehicles according to the manufacturer’s specified calendar of scheduled maintenance.

·         Maintains mileage log as assigned.

·         Reports all incidents, accidents, necessary repairs or malfunctions immediately to Supervisor.

·         Coordinates with supervisor daily for schedule or resident appointments.

·         Accompanies staff to resident doctor appointments staying with resident, until return to campus.

·         Complies with the Company’s Motor Vehicle Safety Program.

·         Responds to resident requests for transportation by reporting requests to immediate supervisor.
