Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Qualifications & Responsibilities: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 

  • Active and unrestricted CNA certification 

  • Previous experience in long-term care is preferred but not required 

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills 

  • Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to resident care Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and personal hygiene 

  • Help maintain a clean and comfortable living environment 

  • Prepare resident rooms with necessary supplies such as blankets, toiletries, and medical equipment 

  • Monitor and document resident conditions, reporting changes to nursing staff

Routinely checks and keeps in order all residents' belongings: i.e. clothing, glasses, hearing aid, prosthesis aid, adaptive devices, etc. Ensures that residents on turning schedule is positioned every two hours or as ordered, and documented.
