This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse ready to step into or grow within leadership, working closely with the Director of Nursing to drive quality, compliance, and team development.

Your Impact

As ADON, you will:

  • Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and support to nursing staff

  • Partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee operations and compliance

  • Support survey readiness and assist with plans of correction

  • Participate in and strengthen QAPI and quality initiatives

  • Mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff

  • Assist with staffing coordination and scheduling

  • Conduct clinical rounding to ensure quality and standards are met

  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams

What You Bring

  • Active RN or LPN license in Illinois

  • Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience (long-term care preferred)

  • Previous leadership or charge nurse experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and survey process

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

  • Passion for resident-centered care and team development
