Home Health Aide

Job Summary:

At Right at Home North Jacksonville, we are committed to providing high-quality in-home care and assistance to seniors and vulnerable adults in their own homes. As a Home Health Aide with our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, providing essential care and companionship to help them maintain their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and hobbies

• Assist with daily living tasks, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care (as needed)

• Help clients maintain their independence by assisting with bathing, dressing, and grooming (if trained and certified)

• Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional condition to care managers

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, adhering to our organization's safety protocols and guidelines

** Requirements:**

• 1 year of experience (entry-level candidates welcome to apply)

• Pass a background check and obtain any necessary certifications or licenses

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform tasks that require bending, standing, and walking

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional evenings

Work Environment:

• Provide care in clients' homes, with occasional support and supervision from our office staff

• Work independently, with regular check-ins and support from our care management team
