Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Mountainside Skilled Nursing and Rehab. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, supervising nursing staff, and collaborating with our Director of Nursing to ensure the success of our Long Term Care facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise nurses and aides in the Long Term Care facility to ensure excellent patient care and utilization of resources
Work closely with the Director of Nursing to implement recommended changes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Conduct resident assessments and monitor resident care, reporting changes to the Director of Nursing as needed
Document resident information accurately and thoroughly, including MARs, nurse's notes, accident/incident reports, and treatment records
Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and attending physicians, assessing the necessity of calls to physicians during off-business hours
Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure proper documentation and communication of patient information

Requirements:
