Unit Manager Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate nursing care for residents on your unit.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and state regulations.
  • Provide leadership, training, and support to nursing staff.
  • Monitor residents’ health, address concerns, and communicate with families.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and oversee quality assurance.

Unit Manager Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Valid LPN  license in the state of New Jersey.
  • Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best nursing practices.
