CNA/ Certified Nurse Aide Requirements and Responsibilities:

· Currently holds an active state issued CNA certificate.

· Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility

· Provide basic patient care services regarding hygiene, grooming, feeding, and transporting in accordance with nursing supervision, the written Plan of Care, and the given facility standards.

· Ensure patients receive essential social and emotional support and provide vital information of patient condition to nurses.

· Maintain a clean and healthy environment.

Position Summary The Driver/Nursing transports residents to hospitals, physician’s offices, and community agencies as ordered by the facility’s physicians. General Purpose The general purpose of the position is to safely transport the residents to the prescribed locations; to maintain a professional manner at all times during transport and while in contact with the community; to cooperate with the Supervisor to maintain transport schedules in a timely manner; to maintain the cleanliness and function of the transport vehicle.
