As a caregiver with A Place At Home, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of seniors, veterans and their families by helping them remain safe, healthy, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Caregiver Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate non-medical in-home care

  • Assist with ADLs/IADLs, personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)

  • Medication reminders

  • Offer companionship and emotional support

  • Assist with mobility and safe transfers (training provided)

  • Support transportation needs for appointments and errands

  • Help with light housekeeping and meal prep

  • Build trusting relationships with clients and families

  • Follow personalized care plans and communicate updates with the care team

Qualifications

  • Experience in senior care, elderly care, or veteran care preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

  • Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently

  • Flexible schedule and adaptability to client needs

  • Must meet California Home Care Aide (HCA) requirements

  • Agree to Background check
