Home Matters Caregiving is hiring an experienced MALE caregiver to serve a client at an assised living facility in Fairfield and Bridgeport, CT. We are looking for caregivers available for day, evening, overnight, and extended-hour shifts.

Driver Requirement

Reliable transportation is required for this position.

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Access to a reliable vehicle

  • Ability to travel between towns in Fairfield County

Public transportation between towns is limited, so driving is essential for these cases.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

  • Provide companionship and engagement

  • Support dementia and memory care clients

  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding

  • Light housekeeping

  • Monitor client condition and report updates

  • Assist with transfers as needed

Requirements

  • 6+ months professional caregiving experience

  • Weekday Avaliability (4:30 - 7:30 PM) / Weekend Avaliability (9 AM - 7:30 PM)

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

  • Ability to pass a background check

  • Strong communication skills

  • PCA/HHA/CNA preferred (not required)

  • CPR/First Aid preferred
