Job Summary
As a PRN CMA, your main responsibility will be to assist in the administration of medications to our residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will be responsible for reviewing medication orders, preparing medications for administration, and documenting all medication administration. Your excellent communication skills will also enable you to educate our residents and their families on their medication regimen.
Responsibilities
• Assist with the administration of medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse
• Review medication orders and prepare medications for administration
• Document all medication administration accurately and thoroughly
• Educate residents and their families on their medication regimen
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
• Participate in employee training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
• Must be a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) with a current certification
• 0 years of experience in the healthcare industry
• Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling resident information
