CNA Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at the Jacksonville Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Jacksonville, Florida. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, assisting with daily living activities, and promoting their overall well-being.

CNA Key Responsibilities:

• Use wristbands or photo cards to identify residents and provide personal care services as needed

• Ensure resident rooms are ready for arrival, including making beds and placing name tags

• Greet residents and escort them to their rooms

• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Inventory and mark resident personal possessions as instructed

• Assist with packing personal belongings for transfers or discharges

• Transport residents to new rooms or areas

• Obtain vital signs and report any concerns to the healthcare team

• Assist with daily dental and mouth care

• Report any resident complaints or grievances

CNA Work Environment:

• Our facility is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility offering an array of therapy services

• We have two units with a mixture of long-term care and short-term care

• Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents

What We Offer:

• Competitive hourly rate: $16 - $23, with shift differentials up to $23

CNA Requirements:

• Must be a certified nursing assistant (CNA)

• Must be able to pass level 2 fingerprinting with an Eligible status

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

• Must be able to lift, bend, and move residents with mobility issues

• Must be able to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and nights

 Must be able to pass level 2 fingerprinting with an Eligible status.
