Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our Night Shift team at the Westchester Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing in Mount Vernon, New York. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, while providing leadership and guidance to the nursing staff. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff on the Night Shift, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs, monitoring their condition and reporting changes to physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless transitions and optimal care
• Provide education and guidance to nursing staff, promoting continuous learning and professional development
• Maintain accurate and detailed records, adhering to regulatory requirements and facility policies

Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Registered Nurse

  • Current New York State RN license

  • Current work authorization

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team

  • Excellent clinical skills, with the ability to assess patients' needs and develop effective care plans

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
