Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the maintenance of residents' nutritional and personal hygiene needs

  • Observe and report significant changes in a resident's condition

  • Understand the psychological needs of the resident

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient areas, ensuring compliance with infection control standards

  • Provide support with mobility, transfers, and positioning of residents

  • Assist with Nursing and other Staff as needed

  • Follow all professional, facility, and legal standards while maintaining resident and facility confidentiality

  • Responsible for promoting a safe work environment through proactive injury prevention practices and compliance with all safety standards

     

Requirements:

  • Current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information

  • Eligible to work and able to verify employment authorization
