Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is hiring for Caregivers in the Greater Waterbury area. We work with each Caregiver to understand their availablity, their prior experience and what they look for in a company. Our Caregivers have the ability to choose their own schedules based on Client needs. Prior experiencing working as a Caregiver for at least three years is ideal. We are also looking for Caregivers who have a strong sense of empathy, are willing to go the extra mile and are tired of having to apply to companies. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding

  • Responsible for house maintenance when applicable

  • Answer phone calls for clients when necessary

  • Converses with patients to provide assurance

  • Observes Universal Precautions

  • Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping

  • Provides patient laundry and linen changes

  • Light housekeeping

  • Provides medication reminders

  • Meal preparation and clean up

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Non-Medical Caregiver required

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills

  • Must have Cell Phone / Tablet
