Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced LPN/RN Unit Manager to join our team at Chestnut Hill Lodge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania. As a Unit Manager, you will play a vital role in leading our interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and service to our residents. This position is primarily Monday through Friday; however, occasional evenings and weekends may be required for resident and staff observation, as well as training.

 

LPN/RN Unit Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of a designated unit, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of care and services

  • Manage and supervise a team of licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and registered nurses (RNs), providing guidance and support as needed

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

  • Coordinate and conduct resident assessments, care planning, and evaluations

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless resident transitions and exceptional customer service

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and activities, promoting a culture of continuous learning and excellence

LPN/RN Unit Manager Requirements:

  • Current LPN or RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania

  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting, with supervision and management experience preferred

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of state and federal regulations
