Position Overview The licensed vocation nurse (LVN) is responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and focused nursing care to assigned patients with predictable health care needs. The LVN works under direct supervision of the registered nurse (RN) and assists with carrying out the patient’s plan of care in accordance with the state’s nurse practice act. Job Description Summary: This position is full-time, day shift on Medical Unit 3. Hours are 7a-7p. Three 12-hour shifts with a weekend and holiday rotation. This position provides nursing care to patients and families along the health illness continuum in diverse health care settings while collaborating with the health care team.
