Health Services Manager

Key Responsibilities
• Clinical Leadership & Oversight
• Provide leadership for all resident care services and clinical operations within the community.
• Participate in resident assessments, move-ins, and service plan reviews in compliance with Mosaic policy and state regulations.
• Review resident health records, monitor weights, and ensure timely response to changes of condition.
• Maintain updated internal service plans and ensure staff implement care appropriately.
• Document key resident updates daily in the community communication log to ensure seamless coordination between care teams.
• Medication Management
• Oversee all medication delivery systems to ensure safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Verify physician orders, MAR transcription, and PRN parameters, ensuring clear instructions are available for Med Techs.
• Review and resolve daily missed medication reports to ensure proper administration.
Qualifications & Skills
Ability to utilize and apply basic management skills.
Provides and coordinates resident care with an awareness of the principles of assisted living.
Maintains adequate attendance, notifies supervisor if late or unable to work in accordance with personal policies, follows work schedule.
Requires minimal supervisions, is a self-starter and is flexible.
Organizes and utilizes time appropriately, sets priorities and accomplishes assigned tasks.
Displays mature behavior in attitude and speech and action and demonstrates consistently pleasant demeanor, tone of voice, supports the philosophy and approach used by the Community.
Keeps resident information confidential, respects resident’s rights, respects privacy and the right to self-determination by the residents.
Works cooperatively with the supervisors and co-workers.
Abides by established policies and procedures of the community. Looks for ways to improve community function.
Has the ability to stand for long periods of time on feet and ambulate quickly.
Is accurate, dependable, neat and thorough in assigned tasks.
Is effective in both verbal and oral communication.
Unencumbered LPN license issued by the state in which employed is necessary. Maintains CPR certification.
