Complete Care is seeking an experienced and driven Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations at our 156-bed skilled nursing facility in Chicago. This is an opportunity for a strong clinical leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building teams, improving outcomes, and driving clinical excellence.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who can elevate standards of care, support and develop nursing staff, and partner with administration to strengthen overall facility performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and oversight of all nursing operations within the facility
Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
Lead, mentor, and develop nursing team including ADONs, Unit Managers, and floor staff
Drive quality improvement initiatives, including survey readiness and clinical outcomes
Monitor and manage staffing, scheduling, and labor efficiencies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care and satisfaction
Oversee infection control, risk management, and clinical policies/procedures
Maintain strong communication with residents, families, and staff

Qualifications:

Active RN license in the state of Illinois
Prior experience as a Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing facility strongly preferred
Proven track record with survey success and quality improvement initiatives
Strong leadership, team-building, and organizational skills
Ability to manage change and drive accountability in a fast-paced environment
