This unit is responsible to prepare patients for surgical procedures. The Patient Care Technician provides direct patient care to patients and their families under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. 0.75 FTE /30 hours per week 10 hour evening shift / Schedule TBD Qualifications Nursing Assistant Certification (NA-C) required High school graduate or equivalent required. Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent documented nursing training experience. 1+ year working in a hospital environment as a CNA strongly preferred. Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) also required (Overlake Hospital will sponsor this licensure upon hire) Health Care Provider CPR Certification required.
