About the Role

CRI-Help, Inc. is seeking a Lead Medication Nurse to provide clinical leadership and oversight in a substance use disorder (SUD) treatment setting. This role is responsible for ensuring safe medication management, regulatory compliance, and high-quality patient care while supervising nursing-related functions.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage medication administration and protocols
Conduct and supervise clinical assessments
Ensure accurate and compliant use of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
Monitor client health status and respond to medical/psychiatric needs
Collaborate with treatment teams and external partners
Maintain compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, CARF, DHCS, and Drug Medi-Cal regulations
Provide guidance and oversight to staff on medication and clinical procedures
Work effectively with diverse patient populations

Qualifications

✔ Active RN or LVN license in California
✔ Minimum 2+ years of clinical nursing experience (SUD experience preferred)
✔ 2+ years of supervisory experience required
✔ Strong understanding of substance use disorders and detox protocols
✔ Experience with EHR systems and computer proficiency
✔ Knowledge of HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, CARF, and DHCS standards
✔ Excellent communication and leadership skills

Certifications

Active CPR / First Aid or BLS Certification required
