Scheduled Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm | Weekends as Needed | 3 Holidays per Year

Job Description:

The Restorative Care Assistant is responsible for providing nursing restorative care to ensure elders attain or maintain the highest possible physical, mental and emotional well-being without declines unless the decline is documented as unavoidable. The RCA provides care to elders that is designed to strengthen muscles, assist with mobility, promote independence, prevent functional declines.  Works in accordance with Great River Klein Center’s policies and procedures, elder’s plan of care, current standards of care and practice and applicable state/federal regulations.

Qualifications:

Required:

High school diploma or GED

Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration*

Iowa Certified Nurse's Aide

Active status on the Direct Care Worker’s Registry

Preferred:

Prefer training in restorative care procedures
