As a Certified Medication Aide, you will be a cornerstone of our care team. Your role goes far beyond dispensing medications, you will be a trusted advocate, a careful observer, and a source of comfort for residents and their families. Your precision and empathy will directly impact the health, safety, and quality of life of those in your care.

What You'll Do

Administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.

Accurately document medication administration, resident responses, and any changes in condition.

Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions and promptly report concerns to the nursing team.

Assist with daily living activities when needed, ensuring residents’ comfort and dignity.

Maintain medication carts, storage areas, and records in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Build trusting relationships with residents, families, and colleagues to foster a positive care environment.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider (Physician or Advanced Practice Provider). Assist with treatments ordered by provider as supervised by provider or registered nurse. Perform select clinical duties. S/he will be expected to assist in assessing patient’s health conditions, including performing routine diagnostic testing during appointments. The MA-Float may be asked to provide coverage outside of their primary center. Duties/Responsibilities: Conduct intake with patients, measuring and recording vital signs, patient interview, and medical history; perform examinations and routine screenings, ensuring patients are informed and all questions and concerns are addressed for each procedure. Critically listen and engage with patients throughout appointment, ensuring needs and/or changing in patient conditions are reported to PCP, specialists, and/or other clinical personnel. Perform all tasks with a hyper focus on patient experience, including processing of patient phone messages, including returning calls; routing calls to other team members as appropriate; calling patients to obtain and relay pertinent information for the physician. Ability to travel on occasion for company meetings. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) required.
