Experienced Caregiver

A Place at Home - The Woodlands is dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality care for individuals with various needs. We are currently in need of a caregiver, CNA, PCT, or Direct Support Professional to service a client in The Woodlands, TX area.

Job Description:

As a Caregiver or personal assistant specializing in fall preventions, transfer-needs, bathing, meal preparation, and other client-related duties, you will be responsible for supporting client in their daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your role will involve creating a supportive and engaging environment, tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide compassionate and attentive care to clients.
Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation.
Monitor and manage medication schedules as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
Implement and adapt care plans to accommodate changes in the client's condition.
Engage clients in activities and exercises designed to stimulate cognitive function and promote well-being.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of care provided and report any changes in the client’s condition to the supervisor.
Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
Ensure a safe and clean-living environment for clients.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in caregiving with a focus on fall-prevention.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and empathy.
Reliable, compassionate, and dedicated to improving clients' quality of life.
Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Our clients need to be provided transportation to outings, doctor's appointments, etc.
