Key Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license with clear, current standing
  • Experience in school-based, pediatric, or 1:1 nursing settings preferred
  • Skilled in g-tube care, respiratory monitoring, and documentation
  • Proficient in providing care for non-verbal, visually impaired students
  • Adaptable, compassionate, and able to communicate effectively with families, educators, and healthcare teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver skilled 1:1 nursing care during school hours (8:15 am – 3:15 pm)
  • Perform and document g-tube feeding, medication administration, and respiratory assessment/monitoring
  • Provide safety oversight for a medically complex 5th grader who is non-verbal and nearly blind
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and related service providers to promote student inclusion and achievement
  • Maintain communication with families and school regarding care plans and student progress
  • Respond promptly to emergent health situations and implement individualized health protocols
