Alanté Health is seeking a dedicated Clinical Trainer that travels to various locations and provides hands-on training to clinical staff and is responsible for educating, onboarding, and ensuring clinical competency while maintaining compliance with Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS), state regulations, facility and company policies. - Develop and deliver new hire orientation programs for clinical hires (RNs, LPNs, CNAs).
- Conduct skills validation and competency assessments in nursing departments and/or clinical staff.
- Develops and provides hands-on training to include but not limited to: wound care, IV therapy, code blue, documentation standards, Infection control practices, preceptor programs, and patient safety protocols.
- Lead in-services and continuing education programs for clinical staff.
- Ensure adherence to CMS regulations and state survey requirements.
- Participates and assists with facility mock state surveys and other auditing and monitoring activities, as required for compliance.
- Participate in QAPI (Quality Assurance Performance Improvement).
- Identify training gaps and provide recommendations for corrections utilizing incident reports, survey findings, and other clinical audits.
- Works in collaboration with facility staff, management, and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Author and implement performance improvement and education plans for clinical staff.
Qualifications
- A graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Prior to hire, must hold a current, valid RN license or temporary RN license through the Arizona State Board of Nursing, or hold a compact RN license. Must maintain valid licensure.
- CPR certification is required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Minimum 2 years of skilled nursing care experience.
- Experience teaching or training clinical staff.
