Job Description We are seeking an OR Nurse to join our team within our Rye Ambulatory Surgery Center! Under the direction of the Operating Room Nurse Manager, the RN will participate in the coordination and delivery of all aspects of patient care delivered in an ambulatory surgery setting while maintaining compliance with policies and AORN practice standards. Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities: Patient care must reflect initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations and strive to maintain a steady level of productivity in a fast-paced environment. The RN must be flexible in working/supporting all areas of the unit as assigned and actively support service quality measures and initiatives to meet benchmarks and core measures. Required Qualifications: Current New York State RN license BLS & ACLS Certified required upon hire PALS a plus Minimum of 3 years of OR experience Experience in all service lines with an emphasis on Ortho and GYN Scrub experience a plus Team oriented yet independent RN to work in is a fast paced Ambulatory Surgery Center Able to work collaboratively with all members of the surgical team to provide safe and effective patient care Pay Range: $45.14 - $56.44 Hourly The provided compensation range is based on industry standards and salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience and location of position. Job Description We are seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for PACU at the Rye, New York site. The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients and their families following the nursing process, established standards and practices. Assist physicians and other team members in coordinating patient care. Functions as a resource for support staff (LPNs and Medical Assistants) Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities: OFFICE VISITS: Assesses and monitors changes in the physical and psycho/social needs of patients utilizing the nursing process Educates and counsels patient and/or caregiver with provisions for follow-up Prepares the patient for and assists in complex procedures and treatments Administers and documents all medications including IV therapy accurately CHARTING: Patient charting is entered into the EMR accurately and in a timely manner Provides clinical direction to the support staff (LPNs, Medical Assistants) MISCELLANEOUS: Responds to emergencies as needed Checks code cart weekly, if applicable Stocks supplies as needed Required Qualifications: Minimum education: Associate Degree; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred NY State RN License BLS and ACLS Certified required IV certification and PALS preferred Completes competency skill checklist within first 3 months Vascular/surgical experience highly preferred EMR experience is a strong plus Pay Range: $43.61 - $54.52 Hourly The provided compensation range is based on industry standards and salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience and location of position.
