What You'll Do

As our new DON, you will be responsible for:

  • Directing day-to-day nursing operations in our facility, ensuring the highest level of care for our residents

  • Leading, motivating, and developing a talented team of nursing professionals

  • Collaborating with our Administrator to drive overall facility success and implement strategic plans

  • Maintaining standards of care in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

  • Implementing programs and policies for enhanced patient experience and satisfaction

  • Attracting, retaining, and mentoring top nursing talent

What We're Looking For

  • Valid RN license (Ohio) in good standing

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as DON in long-term care (if new to the role, we will consider candidates with similar experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing or similar leadership role)

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills

  • Strong ability to implement programs, policies, and procedures
