Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide and oversee wound treatments in accordance with physician orders and best practices
  • Monitor and document wound healing progress accurately and timely
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapy, and nursing staff to optimize outcomes
  • Educate staff, residents, and families on wound care, prevention, and treatment plans
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and clinical standards

Qualifications:

  • Active, unencumbered North Carolina RN or LPN license
  • Wound Care Certification (WCC, WOCN, or similar) preferred
  • Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for quality care
