Responsibilities

 

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services including wellness visits, chronic disease management, acute care, and preventive medicine
  • Diagnose and treat common medical conditions
  • Order and interpret diagnostic testing
  • Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with Maine regulations
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and specialists to coordinate care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR

Qualifications

 

  • Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Board Certified as FNP, AGNP, or related specialty
  • Active or eligible Maine Board of Nursing licensure
  • DEA certification or eligibility
  • Prior primary care experience preferred
  • Strong communication and patient engagement skills
