Golden Villa LVN/RN Charge Nurse

Charge Nurse is responsible for caring for patients who require extended medical care. Their patients may have injuries that require a prolonged period for recovery, or they may have a disability or illness.  Long-term nurses administer medications to patients, coordinate patient care and ensure that patients receive appropriate medical care in a safe environment. Charge Nurse will report to the ADON and DON. Key responsibilities: Administer prescribed medication, operate medical equipment, monitor patient status; record patient information in medical records, assist physician with examinations, and administer treatments. This position is 6am- 6pm day shift or 6pm-6am night shift with two weekends off a month.

Services will be provided for a maximum of 30 residential beds, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (24/7). The 30 beds can be used for male and female clients interchangeably. A maximum of 20 beds are specific for IST consumers identified by Superior Court, Riverside Sheriff's Office (RSO), or Riverside University Health System - Behavioral Health (RUHS-BH) teams. Ten beds are designated for consumers needing residential services with a secondary focus on consumers under Laura's Law/AOT, and Other RUHS-BH and Superior Court Diversion Programs.
