Join our dynamic care team at Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Sandwich!

We are seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide high-quality care to our residents. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.

$25.25 to $31 an hour, including differentials. depending on the shift. All shifts have differentials. Weekly pay. $2,000 sign-on bonus for those hired at 40 hours!* Openings, all including every other weekend, include:

  • 24 hours on 7a-3p

  • 40 hours on 7a-3p

  • 40 hours on 11p-7a

Job Summary:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), your primary responsibility will be to provide routine daily nursing care to our residents, in accordance with our established nursing care procedures and as directed by the licensed staff nurse. You will participate in planning and following current resident care plans, complete resident assignments effectively, and document accurately and completely.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident

  • Participate in planning and following current resident care plan on all residents under your care

  • Complete resident assignments effectively and promptly

  • Observe changes in resident conditions and promptly report them

  • Document accurately and completely

  • Meet personal grooming needs for each resident

  • Promptly answer call lights and assure that all are placed within reach of the resident

  • Maintain clean and orderly resident care areas

  • Identify residents correctly and maintain confidentiality

Requirements:

  • Must possess an active and unencumbered CNA license in Massachusetts, or be in the process of obtaining one

  • New graduates welcome!

  • Knowledge of restorative nursing and rehabilitation policies and ability to utilize appropriately

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions

  • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public

  • Ability to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel

  • Patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents
