We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient pain management practice. This is an office‑based role focused on scheduled outpatient visits, patient education, and collaborative care.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct pain‑focused histories and physical exams
  • Manage acute and chronic pain conditions in collaboration with supervising physicians
  • Develop and follow treatment plans for outpatient visits
  • Provide pre‑ and post‑procedure follow‑up care
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and next steps
  • Prescribe medications per state and practice guidelines
  • Document visits clearly in the EMR
  • Collaborate daily with physicians, MAs, and clinical staff

Training & Ongoing Support

  • Approximately 2 weeks of hands‑on onboarding
  • Side‑by‑side training in:
    • Pain‑focused assessments
    • Patient communication and education
    • Treatment planning and follow‑up visits
  • Permanent supervising support — physicians are always available to:
    • Answer questions
    • Review plans
    • Provide guidance on complex cases

Qualifications

  • Licensed NP or PA‑C (new graduates welcome)
  • Active, unrestricted state license
  • National certification
  • BLS/CPR required (ACLS preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
