Department FPG Anesthesiology Job Summary Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking CRNAs with great communication and interpersonal skills to join the Anesthesiology team at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, FL. Highlights of the Opportunity: A full-time CRNA is expected to cover 176 shifts annually, with additional pay for extra shifts. Diverse mix of cases including Cardiac, Endo, General Surgery, Neuro, OB, Oncology, Ortho, Robotics, Spine, Vascular, and Level II Trauma. Staffing model planned is 40+ Anesthesiologists, and 100+ CRNAs covering 70+ sites including Cath Lab, IR, Endo. Average anesthesia volume is 65,000 cases annually. Physicians will have oversight of CRNA’s. Incentive/Benefits Package: Competitive compensation package with tiered salary ranges based on years of experience. W-2 position with Health Care System that has an excellent reputation and history of providing quality care. We offer a competitive salary with increases based on years of experience, along with a generous retention bonus, quality incentives, and a relocation allowance. Premium pay calculation if a clinician works past the scheduled shift. Premium calculation also applies if a clinician opts to pick-up extra shifts. The Registered Nurse (RN) demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services. Responsibilities Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition. Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses. Document the patient’s plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions. Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and the hospital policies and patient care outcome standard. Revises the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions. Uses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor including establishing priorities. Other Registered Nurse (RN) duties as assigned.
