Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Panama City

Schedule: PRN - 12 hours shiftsCompensation: $45.00 per hour

Competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends

Sign on bonus: $1,500

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
  • Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
  • Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
  • Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
  • Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
  • Competence in Rapid Response and code events
  • Instruct and counsel patients/families
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid State RN License
  • BLS is required at hire.
  • ACLS is required at hire.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clinical experience

Position Summary: The Director of Nursing (DON)/Health and Wellness Director position requires an understanding and commitment to the mission and core values of Charter Senior Living by exhibiting professional and ethical work practices. The Health and Wellness Director is responsible for the oversight and management of staff and residents with the primary focus of serving the healthcare needs of Charter Senior Living residents in accordance with Federal and State regulations and standards. The Health and Wellness Director assures the quality care of all residents in conjunction with the Executive Director, Resident Care Coordinator (if applicable) and other department managers. Physical Demands and Working Conditions • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. 80 pounds of pressure may be placed on the associate through transfers using transfer belts or mechanical assists. • Must be able to stand, walk, stoop and/or bend for periods of up to eight hours with breaks as provided for in the employee handbook. • Possible exposure to communicable diseases, infectious diseases, and bloodborne pathogens.
