Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

$17.50 - $18.35 / hour

SYNERGY HomeCare of Yuma is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team of caregivers providing exceptional, non-medical care in clients’ homes. We are looking for compassionate, detail-oriented CNAs to help improve the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients with personal care, such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and toileting.

  • Deliver companionship through engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.

  • Assist with meal preparation and ensure cleanliness of the kitchen and dining area post-meals.

  • Encourage clients’ participation in hobbies or light exercises to stimulate physical and mental wellness.

  • Perform light housekeeping, including laundry and organization of the living space.

  • Accompany clients to appointments or on outings, providing support and ensuring safety.

  • Help clients remember to take self-administered medications at prescribed times.

  • Report changes in the client’s condition, behavior, or home environment to the supervisor promptly.

  • Build rapport with clients and family members to establish trust and ensure a positive care experience.

  • Attend staff training and development sessions to continually improve caregiving skills.

  • Maintain accurate daily logs and client care documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Current CNA certification in Arizona required.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.

  • Previous caregiving experience in home care or a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.

  • Ability to work with clients who may have diverse needs, including elderly or disabled individuals.

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Yuma County.

  • Ability to pass a background check.
