Registered Nurse- Emergency Department Float

Job Description​

We are hiring a full-time RN for our Emergency Department Float Pool. This is a night shift position that will float between all 4 main hospital locations (Lee’s Summit, Overland Park, North Kansas City, Plaza), 3 Community Hospitals (Legends, Leawood, Roeland Park), and both MO Critical Access hospital locations (Chillicothe & Trenton).

  • Our teams have unit-based leadership teams and are supportive and collaborative on one another. We believe in creating teams that are kind, professional and treats each other as they would a patient. This is key to being successful in this position. These teams work with innovative processes and technologies. We continue to expand our robotics programs.
  • *Float Incentive Pay*
  • Shift: Full Time Nights, 12 hour shifts
  • Responsibilities:
    • Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
    • Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.
    • Delegates tasks appropriately.
    • Identifies hospital resources.
    • Serves as a clinical resource for new employees.
    • Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.

Registered Nurse - GI Lab

Job Description​ Saint Luke’s North in Kansas City is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Gastroenterology Lab department. This unit performs general and therapeutic GI procedures, pulmonary procedures, pre and post procedural care, as well as pre-procedure phone calls. In this role you will admit and recover endoscopy center patients, circulate and assist physicians during GI and pulmonary procedures, and complete pre-anesthesia assessment phone calls. Along with the procedure room team, you will travel to the ICU to perform bedside procedures as needed. As a nurse in the endoscopy center you will be trained on our infection prevention and scope reprocessing procedures. Part Time Days . This position takes call for the GI Lab.
