Willis Knighton is seeking a compassionate, dependable, full-time Nurse Assistant to join our acute care team. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, attentive to detail, and able to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will support nursing staff and provide hands-on care to 10–13 patients per shift, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

Provide daily patient hygiene, including baths, oral care, and grooming
Perform room cleaning and restocking to maintain a safe, organized environment
Assist with unit cleaning tasks as needed to support overall workflow
Support patients with feeding, including setting up trays and assisting those who need help eating.
Take and record vital signs per hospital protocol (if applicable to your facility’s scope)
Assist with ambulation, repositioning, and transfers using proper safety techniques
Respond promptly to call lights and patient needs
Communicate changes in patient condition to supervising nurses
Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record
Uphold infection control, safety, and hospital policy standards
