Position Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides hands-on care and daily support to residents while assisting the nursing team in delivering high-quality care. This role is ideal for both newly certified CNAs and experienced caregivers seeking stable employment and growth opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide compassionate resident care under nursing supervision
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and hygiene
Pass meal trays, assist with feeding, and monitor food and fluid intake
Observe residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Transport residents safely throughout the facility
Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe living environment
Qualifications
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
Current NYS CNA certification in good standing
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Compliance with Department of Health regulations
Reliable, compassionate, and resident-focused
