Wound Care Nurse Practitioner – Mobile Role | Illinois License Required Dr. MobiCare | Part-Time | Mon–Fri, No Weekends, No On-Call

We bring wound care directly to patients in their homes across the Illinois–Indiana border region. You drive the visits, we cover the mileage, malpractice, and equipment. Monday through Friday, home by dinner.

The Role

Hands-on wound care for patients with acute and chronic conditions. Comprehensive assessments, debridement, dressing changes, and individualized care plans — alongside a collaborative clinical team.

Wound care experience preferred, but we'll train the right NP.

A Day in the Role

  • Assess wounds and overall patient health

  • Perform debridement and dressing changes

  • Build care plans with our Medical Director and team

  • Document in the EMR within 24 hours

  • Educate patients and families on healing and prevention

  • Coordinate with primary care, specialists, and our internal team

What You Bring

  • Active, unrestricted Illinois Nurse Practitioner license (required)

  • Strong clinical and documentation skills

  • Confidence working independently and as part of a team

  • A genuine interest in wound care (or willingness to learn — we'll teach you)
