Nemours Children's Health is seeking an experienced full time Advanced Practice Provider for our Jacksonville GI Team!
Key Responsibilities
- Practices collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers to provide high quality healthcare to children.
- Performs appropriate assessment of patient/family upon referral/admission.
- Performs ongoing assessment and evaluation of patient progress and revision of interdisciplinary plan of care.
- May use prescriptive authority if appropriately credentialed to do so.
- Collaborates interprofessionally as needed.
- Identifies patient/family need for further resources and initiates appropriate referrals.
- Assists the Staff Nurse in formulating the Nursing Care Plan and setting priorities based on the needs of patient and family.
- Documents patient care and progress on patient's chart.
- Coordinates Nursing Plan for Discharge in collaboration with the Staff Nurse and other members of the health care team.

Nurse Practitioner:
- Current Florida Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License Pediatric
- Certification via National Certification Center
- FNPs considered with 2 years of pediatric experience
- Florida DEA
- AHA BLS upon hire
- Current Florida Physician Assistant License
- National Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- Florida DEA
- AHA BLS upon hire
