Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our team at Meadow Falls of Middletown, an Assisted Living Community in Middletown, OH. As a Med Tech, you will play a critical role in resident health and safety by administering medications accurately and on time, while supporting overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications to residents following physician orders and established procedures
  • Document medication administration accurately (MAR/eMAR)
  • Observe residents for side effects or changes in condition and report concerns to the nurse or supervisor
  • Maintain proper storage, handling, and disposal of medications
  • Ensure medication carts and records are organized and compliant
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff, caregivers, and families
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Current Medication Technician certification (per state requirements)

Promotes the team approach to providing Radiology services by positively interacting with the technical, support, nursing, residents and medical staff. 13. Observes and reports all patient concerns/ changes in condition to a registered technologist, nurse or physician immediately. 14. Assists in routine unit operations as directed/ needed to assure smooth communication and functioning of the unit. 15. Coordinates the outpatient and inpatient department workflow by maintaining communication between the department and patient floors, ED and OR. 16. Provides direct patient care by assisting with gowning and basic physical care to promote comfort. 17. Engages in problem solving, crisis management and systems implementation throughout the hospital to promote and support efficient, high quality, cost effective patient care. 18. Facilitates transportation of inpatients and ED patients to and from imaging department. 19. Transports patients back to ED following imaging procedure.
