What You’ll Do:

As a Certified NP, you will be a key clinical provider in a skilled nursing facility, diagnosing, treating, and guiding patients to better health. No two days are the same!

Your daily responsibilities include:

  • Performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
  • Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.
  • Prescribing medications and creating treatment plans.
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.

This position will focus on working in our Urgent Care locations in the Orlando area. Nemours Children’s urgent care services treat nonlife-threatening illnesses and injuries in children from newborns to age 18. General Summary Patient management and surgical first assist for pediatric general surgery patients. Collaborate with supervising physician, pediatric surgery team and staff to provide consistent patient care in the inpatient hospital and outpatient clinic settings. Travel to outreach clinics to see patients independently or with physician supervision. Perform and document patient histories and physical exams.
