Education And Credentials Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing. Experience Previous patient care experience in the identified area preferred. Education And Credentials Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program preferred. Current NY licensure as a Registered Nurse required. BLS upon hire or within 3 months required. ACLS – Within 1 year of hire required. Experience ED – One year of acute clinical experience required. Surgical Services and ICU – Six (6) months of acute clinical experience preferred.
