As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), the expectations would be:
- Takes an active role in direct resident assessment, development of service plan, introductory and care.
- Administers medication and/or treatment to residents
- Communicates resident pertinent data to the appropriate responsible party.
- Supervises and coordinates certified nursing aides in providing direct resident care in adherence to State and Federal guidelines.
- Puts resident service first: Ensures that residents and responsible parties receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere, which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights.
- The ability to be a flexible, caring, supportive team member
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications:
- Must be currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state of Pennsylvania.
- CPR Certification
- Experience is preferred in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.
- Ability to build rapport with patients-
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
