Position Overview: 

As a Medical Technologist in our Laboratory Department, you will be responsible for performing complex diagnostic tests, analyzing biological specimens, and ensuring accurate and timely results. Your expertise will support our medical team in diagnosing and treating patients, contributing directly to their health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct a variety of laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other bodily fluids using established procedures and equipment.

Ensure the accuracy of test results by performing quality control checks and maintaining equipment.

Analyze test results, interpret findings, and communicate critical values to physicians and healthcare providers

Record and document test results and maintain accurate laboratory records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Prepare, handle, and process samples according to established protocols to prevent contamination and ensure reliability.

Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment and adhere to infection control practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
  • Active Florida Medical Technologist License.
  • Previous experience working as a Medical Technologist in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred. 
  • Experience in Microbiology Required

Position Summary The Medication Technician (Med Tech) is responsible for safely assisting residents with the self-administration of medications in accordance with state regulations and facility policies. The Med Tech provides support to residents by ensuring medications are dispensed accurately and timely, monitoring for adverse reactions, and documenting care appropriately.
