
School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Victorville, California

Qualifications:
- Current, valid California LVN, LPN, or RN license
- Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced situations and diverse student needs
- CPR/BLS certification (required)
- Experience with individualized health care plans (IHP/IEP) and medical documentation is a plus
- Candidates with active school nursing credentials will be prioritized
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to students, including medication administration, emergency response, and routine health management
- Conduct health screenings and contribute to the implementation of student health plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support students’ health and well-being
- Maintain accurate health records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Serve as a resource on health-related matters for school staff and students
- Participate in IEP/504 meetings as a member of the multidisciplinary team
- Support COVID-19 and communicable disease protocols as needed
