Expected pay for this position is $20.41 - $24.01/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.


Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The OnCall Mobile Community Health CMA Driver is a member of a collaborative team who is responsible for providing community care to a diverse population of patients across the ministry. The CMA will also be responsible for safely transporting the OSF OnCall vehicle to designated locations within a specified market and ensuring the vehicle is clean and organized. The CMA will notify the leadership of maintenance needs. They will perform delegated clinical and administrative duties consistent with Medical Assistant program education, training, and experience. May perform both clinical and administrative tasks, including clerical support and assisting with patient care activities, as directed by the provider. The incumbent performs the duties described below in accordance with the specific needs of the practice.


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School Diploma or GED Certificate of completion/Diploma from a medical assistant program or Certificate of completion from Guild certified medical assistant clinical education and applied learning program.

Licensure/ Certification: CMA – Certified Medical Assistant current certification by one of the following approved certifying agencies: American Association of Medical Assistant (AAMA), earning CMA credential. American Medical Technologist (AMT), earning RMA credential. National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), earning NCMA credential. National Healthcare Association (NHA), earning CCMA credential.      *Current State Driver’s license Good Driving Record

American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers) to be completed within 2 weeks of hire date. National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP). American Allied Health (AAH).

Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 Experience: Previous experience as a medical office assistant or CNA or equivalent, previous experience with an electronic health record, phlebotomy. A candidate that thrives in an ever-changing environment. Other Skills/ Knowledge: Multilingual/bilingual
