What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Nurse Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • BLS Provider preferred.

The Transportation Aide/Van Driver will transport residents to appointments, various individual and group activities. **Daily Pay Available** Driver Responsibilities: Provide primarily medically necessary transportation in an efficient, cost-effective manner to safely meet residents' needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements. Safely secure residents' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip. Report resident medical issues in timely manner. Implement transportation schedule and notify nursing and Unit managers of schedule conflicts and/or issues. Notify supervisor when equipment in need of maintenance or repair. Notify supervisor when there are unresolved conflicts with scheduling. Cleaning the interior of the van on a regular basis, assuring the vehicle is presentable for the transport of residents.
